Hi, I’m Isaac Mejico, the founder and owner of Recycle with IceBro.
As a local Casa Grande resident, I’ve always believed that real environmental change starts within the community. Recycle with IceBro was built on that belief and on the idea that recycling should be simple, not stressful.
How It All Began
When my family and I moved to Casa Grande, we were surprised and disappointed to learn that the city’s curbside recycling program had been discontinued. Recycling had always been part of our household routine, so losing access to such an important service felt like a step backward for the community.
Taking Action
Rather than accept the inconvenience, I began collecting our household recyclables and transporting them to local drop-off centers myself. It quickly became clear how challenging the process was. Different materials required different locations, limited hours, and extra planning. All barriers that made consistent recycling difficult for many residents.
A Shared Frustration, A Simple Solution
Through conversations with neighbors, friends, and coworkers, I realized this frustration was widespread. People wanted to recycle not just because it’s environmentally responsible, but because they care about Casa Grande and its future. What was missing was a simple, reliable solution.
That realization led to the launch of Recycle with IceBro in April 2025.
